6 Beauty Products I Would Buy Again and Again and Again…

Cocoa Brown Tan 1 HOUR EXTRA DARK

Lads, this blog post would be nothing without my essential. The girls in work tell me I am not that pale, though I claim to be as white as a sheet. It’s really because they’ve never seen me without my 1 HOUR TAN EXTRA DARK on. Us Irish tend to miss the food when they live abroad but for me, I miss having Cocoa Brown so accessible and not having to ration it!

Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid

Ok, in second place of my all-time favorite beauty products comes this bad boy from Paula’s Choice Skincare. Look, I’m not a skincare specialist by any stretch, but what I can tell you is that this product WILL CHANGE YOUR SKIN. In layman’s terms, the SKIN PERFECTING 2% BHA Liquid  is a beta hydroxy acid which is a liquid exfoliant for your skin. I find this most effective on dry skin, breakouts, uneven skin tone, redness, and enlarged pores. You will see a difference in about four or five days and you’ll never look back. Promise.

Tweezerman Tweezers

I stole my Tweezerman from my Mam about 4 years ago and the thing is still a weapon. They are SO expensive but my God do they work so brilliantly. Invest.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

THIS foundation does exactly what it says on the tin. I love it for full, full coverage and it does not budge at all. Go to your local Estee Lauder counter and get matched with the perfect shade because this foundation is worth the investment. It’s quite drying so risky for those on the dryer side but great news for oilier skin types.  Also, if you’re only looking for light coverage I would steer clear of Double Wear.

Wet Brush

When I had Hair With Envy extensions, I loved using the Wet Brush as it didn’t tug at my hair bonds. They aren’t cheap but like most things in life, you get what you pay for. They last a lifetime and great for kids too! Because they feel so different on your head, you’ll probably never want to go back to a traditional style brush.

Powder and Pout The HD Buffer P230

Makeup is cool, sometimes, but mostly I just want it to be on my face as quick as possible. I always opt for a big, bulky kabuki brush and the HD Buffer P230 from Powder and Pout does the trick. It’s stumpy and sturdy enough to hold and the brush is so big your foundation is applied in seconds. It’s less than €20 and will last you months. Even MakeupByMario is a fan!
