Despite my current Instagram break, I still use it as a tool for searching hashtags, checking out menus and planning in advance what I’m going to eat. And so, because we live our lives through the app, I thought it could be useful to have this post of all the amazing foodie spots NYC had to offer so you can step up your #foodie snaps and stories. Additional suggestions are always welcome in the comments!
PS: None of these pictures are mine, but I’ve added in a note on places that I’ve visited!
You’ll find staples like doughnuts and croissants here, but with a twist. Watch it happen here.

Cha Cha Matcha
A cafe dedicated to matcha. Their tagline? “Love you so Matcha ™”. Dead!
For good coffee or a healthy slab of avocado on toast.
Russ & Daughters
An elevated brunch spot. Oprah approves too.
Kind of internet famous for all the right reasons. An ice-cream lovers paradise.
While We Were Young
This place was built for your basic Instagram model and I’m all for it. Girly, classy and obnoxiously expensive.
Jacks Wife Freda
Makes for the best IG flat lay. This cute, quirky brunch-y/lunch-y spot has three locations in NYC.
There is no cookie quite like the Levain cookie.
Black Tap NYC
If you wish to consume sugar in extortionate portions, go here.
…because Ralph Lauren coffee is better coffee.
If you like your cookies thick, ooh-y and gooey.
The Bagel Store
Remember the day when rainbow bagels broke the internet? It was The Bagel Store that started it all.
Taiyaki is a Japanese fish-shaped cake. These ice-cream parlors have expanded locations across the world.
I live right down the street to this little cutesy hub, and although they are overpriced, it’s worth the Instagram snap if you’re in the area.
A little hub to stimulate your avocado obsession.
So famous they made their own cookbook!
I’ve saved the best for last, my favorite pink house in all of the land!
